“Calling You Home” by Pheonyx Roldan Smith

“Calling You Home” by Pheonyx Roldan Smith

Are you here?
Or are you still there?

Are you seeking sunshine
in a midnight rain?
Are you playing tunes
upon the window pane?

Are you seeking solace as you
sit contemplating upon the rock of Dawn?
Or are you practicing your hulahoop
to the rhythm of the morning song?

Are you dancing from cloud to cloud
with the sparrow and the dove?
Are you simply contemplating
your entry place from the great above?

Are you ready to move from
ether to fire to earth and then air?
to begin another journey by
flighted feet upon
crusted rock and with us
your wisdom share?

Are you here?
Or are you still there?

I ask because we eagerly await you.
We have prepared your chamber within our very hearts..
They are filled with an undying love
by many who wish you joyful journey,
who are facing their fears,
and who have dared to care.
